I am very eager to hear your story and get to know you but, first let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Bailee and I am a lifestyle photographer based out of Oklahoma.
I will purposefully set my alarm thirty minutes early in order to grab my kindle and drink a cup of coffee before my day begin's. In 2023 I married my best friend who could not be more opposite of me. Funny how that works huh? I will always choose my comfy clothes and a night in over a fancy outfit followed by a night out.
Photography was simply a creative outlet until one day a close friend encouraged me to turn it into something more.
If you have been on this journey with me for awhile now you would know that Mae Seven has not always been what it is today. In fact, it was not Mae Seven at all.
July of twenty twenty three plays a huge role in my desire to rebrand. The very week that I walked down the aisle to say "I do" I also said goodbye to a loved one. One that I think may have loved a camera more than myself and one that I call Granny. She never met a stranger and if she did she had this way of leaving them better than she found them. She walked around at every gathering likely with a disposable camera in hand eagerly wanting to capture the moment. While going through her old belongings our family discovered a 1960's Autoreflex T Konica Film camera and all I could do was grin.
Photography quickly became a way to feel closer to her and with the month of July being such a pivotal time for me my creative thoughts naturally began to flow.
Thus, Mae Seven was born.
Throughout this journey I never want to meet a stranger. I constantly strive to leave people better than I've found them and I want to eagerly capture every moment.
The idea that we are able to relive a memory that once was continues to be so fascinating.
As Mae Seven is sure to evolve and grow you are sure to find me close by evolving and growing right along with it.
